Sometimes, we all need a little inspiration to get through our days! I’ve gathered the top five quotes of the last month from our Instagram profile, and compiled them for you here. If you scroll to the end, I’ve also posted two quotes sized so you can grab them and use them for your iPhone wallpaper!
#1:
This thought from 200 + years ago still rings true today, and is what a lot of homeschool families live by! Doing life together is what makes homeschooling such a great adventure!
#2
You can do this! You’ve got it, and you are able to lead this great adventure your family is on! When it gets rough, just remember you are the person most equipped and able to direct your child’s journey.
#3
As homeschoolers, we don’t just teach our kids the basics. We have the chance to really develop these little people into mighty adults who are strong in mind, body, and their character. What a fantastic opportunity we have!
#4
It looks like homeschool parents have found the fountain of youth! It’s ok to keep learning, and to need to learn something new each year with your kids!
#5
The rest of the quote says: Freedom to learn at our own pace. Freedom to choose what curriculum to use and which paths to take. Freedom to appreciate the simplicity of teaching and how less is really more. Freedom to teach real lessons for the real world. Freedom to have fun while learning. Freedom to encourage creativity and out-of-the-box ideas. Freedom to explore our own interests and try something new. Freedom from comparing ourselves to others. Freedom from guilt because I may feel like I am not doing enough. Freedom to step off the highway of learning to take the more scenic route along a dirt road. Freedom to slow down and enjoy every minute God has entrusted me to educate my children. Freedom to love learning.
What a good statement. That’s what this blog is all about – Celebrating the adventure we get to live, because we have the freedom to do so!
Wallpapers for iPhone:
Now, I have an iPhone 6, and can test the wallpaper size on it to make sure that a photo I publish works correctly. If you have a different device and would like a copy of the wallpaper, please comment below with the device and I can look for the dimensions. Over the next month or so, I will work on a list of the most common devices to create wallpapers for. Thanks!!
